Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and masons) with daily tasks.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and performing general cleanup.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various construction tasks and environments.
