Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear, level, and prepare construction sites by removing debris and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
- Assist Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople with various tasks as directed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Support: Assist with digging trenches, setting forms, and performing basic concrete work.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing on uneven terrain.
- Tools: Familiarity with common construction hand tools (tape measure, hammer, level) is preferred.
- Safety: Strong commitment to safety protocols and wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors.
