Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Assist skilled trades with material handling and equipment operation
- Perform excavation, trenching, and backfilling tasks as directed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout shift
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines
- Operate hand/power tools under supervisor guidance
- Complete daily progress reports and safety checklists
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic understanding of construction terminology preferred
- Availability for 10-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Must possess own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.)
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
