Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and transport them to work sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywall hanging, painting, and concrete pouring.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Perform site preparation, including excavation, leveling, and debris removal.
- Follow blueprints and instructions provided by foremen or project managers.
- Perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for long hours.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
