Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and hauling heavy materials on construction sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as mixing concrete, laying foundations, and framing.
- Prepare and clean construction sites, ensuring debris is removed and work areas are organized.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) under supervision.
- Read and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, and safety instructions provided by supervisors.
- Maintain strict adherence to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and perform manual labor outdoors.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as project demands dictate.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment.
