Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation including excavation, grading, and trenching
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper training
- Construct and install concrete forms, scaffolding, and temporary structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications
- Perform finish work including drywall installation, flooring, and painting
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trade professionals
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and inspection reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License required
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Bay Area
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
