Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and instructions
- Transport materials and equipment using hand trucks or forklifts
- Perform site preparation and finishing work as directed
Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and working in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
