Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision to assist skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assistance: Support electricians, carpenters, and other trades with various tasks as directed.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with site supervisors and team members regarding project needs.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior construction experience is required; we provide full training.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing on feet.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic.
- Attention to Safety: Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
