Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including clearing debris, digging, and leveling ground for construction projects.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using hand trucks, forklifts, or other heavy equipment.
- Assembly: Help assemble framing, drywall, and other structural components under the guidance of senior tradespeople.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work area by performing basic equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
- General Labor: Perform various general labor tasks as needed to support the project timeline and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long hours.
- Reliable Transport: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between New Orleans and Florida job sites.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, general labor, or warehouse work is preferred but not required.
- Teamwork: Strong willingness to learn and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols precisely.
