Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Cleanup: Assist in preparing construction sites, ensuring debris removal, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently to and from the job site.
- General Labor Support: Provide direct assistance to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and power equipment under the supervision of a foreman.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a zero-incident workplace.
- Quality Control: Help maintain high standards of workmanship and assist in quality checks as directed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly and communicate effectively with team members.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to and from the job site is required.
