Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with various construction tasks including framing, drywall hanging, and finish work.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of job sites to ensure safety and compliance.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts under supervision.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations strictly.
- Measure, cut, and prepare building materials for installation.
- Support the project manager and lead hands to ensure projects are completed on time.
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly over the course of a shift.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on various job sites.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and material calculations.
- Desire to learn new skills and advance within the construction industry.
