Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, loading/unloading materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Prepare and clean construction sites to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with project execution
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, or forklifts (training provided)
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA training provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal supervision
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
