Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials to work areas efficiently and safely.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Quality Assurance: Help ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Support Crew: Provide direct support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Safety Mindset: Commitment to following OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
- Communication: Basic ability to read instructions and communicate with team leads.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work overtime as needed.
