Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision, ensuring safe usage and maintenance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring debris is removed and tools are stored properly.
- Assistance: Support electricians, carpenters, and other tradespeople with various manual tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing for extended hours.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or labor work is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates for immediate start.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to showing up on time every day.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are preferred, but not mandatory.
