Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools (hammer drills, saws, etc.) under the supervision of a foreman.
- Perform general site preparation, including digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Transport materials to different areas of the job site using hand trucks or dollies.
- Follow project blueprints and instructions to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Ability to work scheduled weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Must be eligible to work legally in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic familiarity with construction tools and safety gear is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team.
