Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground to ensure a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely under the guidance of foremen and site supervisors.
- Assistance with Trades: Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor or general labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Work Ethic: Must be punctual, dependable, and ready to work hard in various weather conditions.
