Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily operations, including carpentry, framing, and finishing.
- Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) following safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring debris is removed and areas are safe.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation under the supervision of foremen.
- Perform basic site preparation tasks, including digging, leveling, and concrete finishing support.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Experience in construction or a willingness to learn the skilled trades is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and safety diagrams.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA regulations.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
