Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites safely.
- Skill Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks to support project timelines.
- Site Prep: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools (drills, saws) under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality; ability to work a full-time schedule.
- Work Ethic: A strong willingness to learn and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
