Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and accurately count building materials and supplies at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform basic digging, trenching, and site preparation as directed.
- Transport materials to and from the staging area using hand trucks or forklifts.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
