Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper training
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, equipment setup, and project completion
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction plans accurately
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain quality control standards
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
