Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) and power tools under OSHA guidelines
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and installation
- Inspect work areas for safety hazards and maintain compliance protocols
- Read blueprints and project specifications for accurate task execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines
- Perform night shift site security and equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (training provided if needed)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
