Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Assist in cleaning and preparing construction sites, including demolition work and debris removal.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as directed.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools with precision and care.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure work areas remain organized and tidy throughout the project duration.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50+ lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
- Transportation: Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation to and from job sites.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Background: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
