Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up barriers.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Trade Support: Work alongside skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) to complete tasks as directed.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to pass a background check.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime when necessary.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and follow instructions and communicate effectively with the crew.
