Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including digging, carrying materials, and cleaning the work area.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various duties as directed.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and safety plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload construction materials and supplies from trucks.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices (OSHA 10 preferred but not required).
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
