Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials across the job site.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site duties.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols, wear proper PPE, and report hazards immediately.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and store them in designated areas.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site layouts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for long shifts.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards and the use of hand tools.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license is an asset but not mandatory.
