Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, with various on-site tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools (training provided on-site).
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris at all times.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by the site supervisor.
- Perform basic manual labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items up to 50+ lbs.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads repeatedly throughout the day.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Basic reading and math skills for measuring materials and following instructions.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or GED is a plus, but not mandatory for this role.
