Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings under supervision.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by organizing materials, tools, and ensuring the work area is clean and safe.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and local electrical codes at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and inspect electrical tools and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent service during project completion.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience is required. A strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid, clean driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic math skills and an interest in understanding how electrical systems function.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and overtime as needed.
