Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools, including jackhammers, saws, and drills, under supervision.
- Assisting Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring and marking layout locations, following blueprints and specifications.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand tools is advantageous.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills.
