Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials (lumber, concrete, bricks) to and from the job site efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and masons, with various on-site tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and according to guidelines.
- Prepare and clean job sites, ensuring debris is removed and areas are safe.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations at all times.
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects as required.
- Measure and cut materials to specifications when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Previous experience in construction, general labor, or landscaping is a plus.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating material needs.
