Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Operate basic power tools and hand tools under supervision of foremen or skilled tradespeople.
- Perform general cleaning of job sites to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Transport materials between storage areas and work sites using hand trucks or forklifts (when available).
- Support framing, drywall, painting, or concrete crews as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but experience is valued over education.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team setting.
