Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of job sites, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and grading the land.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) by providing necessary materials and helping with specific tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Security: Secure the site during breaks and after hours to protect materials and equipment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, including lifting, carrying, and standing.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn construction trades and safety procedures.
