Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground as directed.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site safely and efficiently.
- Trade Support: Help skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks and project duties.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety standards and site protocols.
- Manual Labor: Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, and holding materials for extended periods.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure the work area is kept free of hazards and debris at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome applicants with no prior construction experience; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform manual labor for long hours and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to arrive on time and ready to work every day.
- Team Player: Must be able to communicate effectively and work well within a team environment.
- License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Availability: Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project demands require.
