Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Assist with transporting materials to and from the job site safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision to complete basic construction tasks.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of tasks including carpentry, drywall hanging, painting, and roofing support.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with foremen and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and willing to work overtime as needed.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
