Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning, digging, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site safely and efficiently.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery and tools, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and concrete mixers, under supervision.
- Support Trades: Provide support to skilled tradespeople such as electricians, carpenters, and plumbers as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area by removing debris and waste regularly.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver’s license and social security card for I-9 verification.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and punctuality are essential; we need team players who show up ready to work.
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is preferred but not strictly required for entry-level candidates.
