Responsibilities
- Perform general site preparation, including excavation, backfilling, and grading.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and free of hazards (Job Site Safety).
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards is a plus.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project needs require.
