Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, and hauling materials on construction sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various duties such as framing, drywalling, or painting.
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and safe by removing debris and following cleanup protocols.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) under direct supervision.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Basic math skills and the ability to read basic measurements.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
