Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks including digging, mixing concrete, and carrying materials.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Set up and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures.
- Perform site cleanup and maintenance to ensure a safe working environment.
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Follow all safety protocols and project instructions from foremen.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred for site mobility.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to read and understand basic safety signs and instructions.
- Experience in general labor or construction is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Detroit and surrounding Ohio areas.
