Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery under the direct supervision of foremen.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and laying groundwork.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with site standards at all times.
- Perform basic measurements and read simple blueprints or diagrams when required.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for understanding safety instructions and verbal directions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required for entry-level roles.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and work on your feet for long periods.
- Strong team player attitude with a focus on safety and cooperation.
