Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, with daily tasks.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe by removing debris and maintaining work areas.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools under the supervision of a Site Supervisor.
- Measure, cut, and prepare building materials according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, tamping, and concrete pouring assistance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable personal transportation.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adhere to a strict schedule.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
