Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Mix concrete, sand, gravel, and other materials to the required specifications.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely and correctly.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks on-site.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform site cleanup, including debris removal and waste disposal.
- Assist with excavation and general site preparation tasks.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license or ID.
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions quickly.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
