Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks as directed.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by sweeping, raking, and removing waste.
- Measurement: Help measure and cut materials as required for specific projects.
- Hand Tools: Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Communication: Follow safety protocols and communicate effectively with the site crew.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects for extended periods.
- Willingness to Learn: Eager attitude and a desire to learn construction trades.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
