Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing, digging, and leveling areas.
- Material Handling: Transport, load, and unload building materials, tools, and equipment.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic machinery and power tools to assist in construction processes.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and trash.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction labor or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with foremen and team members.
- Attitude: Must be punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of construction hand tools is preferred.
