Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning and clearing areas, as well as setting up workstations and equipment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assist Skilled Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and masons by holding materials, cleaning work areas, and performing basic measurements.
- Demolition & Site Cleanup: Perform basic demolition tasks and ensure job sites are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders, safely and efficiently.
- Physical Labor: Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Safety Mindset: Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and eager to learn new trades and techniques.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with foremen and team members.
