Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Setup: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding under supervision.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport heavy construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) safely and correctly as directed by foremen.
- Support Skilled Trades: Provide essential support to carpenters, electricians, and masons to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for everyone.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by sweeping floors, removing trash, and organizing tools after use.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We provide full training for the right candidates who are eager to learn and grow.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure materials are used correctly and tasks are completed to standard.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic.
