Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels, under supervision.
- Assistance: Help skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as framing, drywall hanging, concrete pouring, and painting.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by adhering to all safety regulations and cleanup protocols.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with foremen, project managers, and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated beginners.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent work history with a strong attention to detail.
- Safety Awareness: Familiarity with basic construction safety standards and the ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
