Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and digging trenches as required.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks to job sites.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools (such as saws, drills, and levels) under direct supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions at all times.
- Assist Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople as directed by the site supervisor.
- Measurements: Read and interpret basic blueprints and measurement layouts accurately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general handyman work is preferred but not required.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
