Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various construction activities.
- Operate heavy machinery and tools, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and power drills, with proper training.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project instructions when required.
- Perform general site cleanup and preparation for upcoming tasks.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not always required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are highly preferred.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
