Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including excavation, grading, and clearing debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision to assist with various tasks.
- Assist Trades: Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and masons with daily project needs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free site.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Teamwork: Must be a self-starter who works well in a team-oriented environment.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal instructions.
- Tools: Willingness to provide your own basic hand tools.
