Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks and installations.
- Operate power tools and construction equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times (Job Site Housekeeping).
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific protocols strictly.
- Assist in basic site preparation, including digging, tamping, and concrete work.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Site Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM) on a regular basis.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
