Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels, safely and correctly.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and following site protocols.
- Excavation & Prep: Perform basic site preparation, including digging, tamping, and leveling ground for foundations.
- Demolition: Assist in the safe dismantling of structures and removal of waste materials.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Endurance: Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record is essential.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with foremen and team members.
- License: Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not always required.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
